In this article, you’re about to see the 60 best tools for freelancers in 2020. I have used most of these tools.

If you want to become a more effective freelancer, you need tools.

Tools for managing projects. Tools for invoicing and proposals. And tools to keep you focused and productive.

It’s time to reveal my favorite freelancing tools. I have divided the tools in different categories:

60 BEST Tools for Freelancers

Keep You Focused

1. Tomato Timer

Have you heard of or used the Pomodoro technique? It’s a popular Time management technique that breaks the day into brief intervals. You need to focus on one task for 25 minutes, followed by a 5-minute productivity-boosting break.

This timer helps you stay focused and then prompts you when it’s time to take a break. I believe that you don’t need to spend more time on something in order to get better outcomes or results.

  1. This is a very productive list. Never heard of One Tab, but that has to be my favourite from the list. I keep tons of tabs open almost all the time. Thanks for sharing Pawan.

  2. Great list. Learned of a few that I haven’t used before as a freelancer myself. However there seems to be one big omission that I can’t live without as a freelancer, Smartsheet.

  3. I am an obsessive compulsive disordered person when it comes to TABs. I keep opening them, leave them unread for weekends, save them somewhere, and bookmark them. And comes a time my browser begs to crash.

One Tab saved my life yesterday. Okay, I know that is an exaggeration but I am going to try more tools from the list. I use a few out of these.

One suggestion: Pro Writing Aid is one tool, far better than Grammarly, I use for editing and deeper analysis. Although I prefer it for my fiction work, it still stands good for content.
